One of Els and Serge’s earliest dates was at Chocolate Nation, the world’s largest Belgian chocolate museum in Antwerp.
As they wandered through exhibits of Belgian cocoa history and sampled luscious pralines, they discovered something special: a shared love for Belgian chocolate.
In that moment, amid the rich aroma of cacao, a dream began to take shape. Els mentioned an idea she had nurtured for years – a dream of bringing the taste of authentic Belgian chocolate to the United States, where she had lived for over 30 years.
Together, right there in the chocolate museum, they started imagining what it would be like to create something of their own.
